Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information DitherInk ("we") collects when you use this website and how it is used. The site is operated by molkoo.
Your images
- Cropping and resizing happen in your browser. Your original file never leaves your device.
- To dither and encode the image, a resized copy at your panel's resolution is sent to our server. It is processed in memory and discarded as soon as the response is sent.
- We do not store, view, share or use your images for any other purpose, and we do not keep them in logs.
Information collected automatically
Our server records basic technical information for each request: time, the panel size and color mode selected, output format, processing time, response status and a random request ID. Your IP address is used briefly to limit excessive requests and is not stored with this information. Our hosting and network providers may keep standard access logs for security and reliability.
Settings stored in your browser
The tool remembers your last panel size, colors, orientation and output options in your browser's local storage so you do not have to set them again. This information stays on your device. You can clear it at any time in your browser settings.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used and Google AdSense to show ads. These services may use cookies and similar technologies to measure usage and, where permitted, to show personalized ads based on your visits to this and other websites.
- Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked for consent before these cookies are used. You can change your choice at any time from the privacy settings link shown by the consent message.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings. Learn more in how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
- Residents of some US states can opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information through the message shown on the site.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
